Rejuvenating Residential Retreats

“Don’t Hesitate To Book – You will never feel or think quite the same again!

We all departed on a new high, feeling positive and re-energised and seeing lots of new possibilities in front of us… and these feelings have continued for me well beyond those few magical days at Cider House.”

The Experience

Curating a bespoke blend of those elements we find most profound and aligned for each retreat. A deepening of your yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation practice in the Linhay overlooking the gardens.

Journalling will allow greater insights and opportunities for reflection. Time in nature, wide open spaces, hot and cold therapy, fuelled by nourishing vegetarian meals sourced from our abundant and fabulous local suppliers.

Walking and grounding in the wild and rugged Dartmoor or the dramatic Cornish coast, exploring and embracing the vibrancy and invigoration of cold water swimming – perfect for beginners as well as those who love this revitalizing experience – Dartmoor’s ancient woodlands, rivers, and secret pool do offer some of the most spectacular scenery and a day walking the spectacular Cornish coast path, followed by a sea swim is not to be missed! Bertie and Bryony shared a vision to create escapes where yoga, nature, stillness, adventure, and idyllic seclusion went hand in hand with comfort and an effortlessly unique style.

“We know first hand the profound benefits to be gained from slowing down, immersion in such a magical place, the importance of taking time out, connection with self and others and the need for a playful sense of fun and adventure – we love where we live, it’s heavenly – we look forward to welcoming you.”

Getting out in wide open spaces, rolling landscapes and uninterrupted views with options to expereince the many benefits of wild swimming under the experienced guidance of Bertie, each retreat can be adapted to your level whatever that may be.

Your Digital Detox

Cider House offers a slower pace, whilst we do have wi-fi and Netflix the monks were not considering the internet when they decided on the wall thickness and our speed could be described as glacial until fibre finally reaches us.

Bring a Friend or Two?

Of course! Our retreats are equally suited for solos and friends, we offer shared rooms, should that work better for you. Should you not be able to make the dates of our residential retreats why not consider bringing your own group to one of our bespoke retreats or take time out for something totally for you on a solo retreat.

THE best decision I have EVER made was booking onto this retreat!" Meg, Cornwall

“I was looking for a retreat as I was feeling overwhelmed and wanting to get into nature.

It was the perfect retreat for me- the mix of yoga, walking and great food. I also didn’t want to share a room or pay a premium single person discount.

The price was amazing value for money. Plus, the location was incredible and easily accessible from London.

I loved the connection with like-minded people. My body was relaxed yet challenged. I was more at ease with myself and connected to my values.

Food was amazing!!! You will not be starved or put on detox here!!!”

Sophie

From the moment I arrived on this retreat, I felt enveloped in the warmth and care of Bryony and Bertie. The beautiful Cider House and serene surroundings created the perfect environment for relaxation and self-reflection.”
